The 2025 edition of BIOFACH will take place from 11 to 14 February at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. A notable highlight of BIOFACH 2025 will be the participation of the OrganicTargets4EU project. At the TP Organics Science Day, scheduled for Thursday, 13 February, from 10:00 to 12:00 in Room Oslo, NCC Ost, project coordinator Ambra De Simone (IFOAM Organics Europe) will introduce the OrganicTargets4EU project. Oliver Mora and Etienne Schultz (INRAE) will present “Building Transition Pathways Towards 25% Organic Targets”, providing attendees with valuable insights into strategies for expanding organic farming.
Furthermore, the TP Organics Science Day will include a “speed-dating” section featuring selected Horizon Europe projects to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among industry experts, researchers, and policymakers. Ivana Trkulja (ICROFS) will present the CoreOrganic Pleaides; the list of other Horizon projects at the speed dating includes OrganicAdviceNetwork, ROAM-FREE, SOILL Startup, and SchoolFood4Change, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing among industry experts, researchers, and policymakers.
Visitors are also encouraged to explore the IFOAM – Organics International / IFOAM Organics Europe booth (No. 351, Hall 1). As a key advocate for organic farming worldwide, IFOAM will provide insights into policies, certifications, and innovations shaping the organic sector.
